Synopsis
Masters of the Air S01 follows the airmen of the 100th Bomb Group during World War II as they fly dangerous bombing missions over Nazi-occupied Europe. Known as the “Bloody Hundredth,” the group faces extreme danger in the skies, where every mission brings the risk of enemy fighters, flak, mechanical failure, capture, or death.
The season focuses not only on aerial combat, but also on the emotional pressure carried by young men sent into impossible situations again and again. Through pilots, crew members, commanders, and prisoners of war, Masters of the Air explores courage, fear, sacrifice, trauma, loyalty, and the bond formed between men who may not survive the next mission.
Masters of the Air S01 is ideal for viewers who enjoy historical war drama, aviation stories, military history, and character-driven survival narratives. The series combines large-scale battle sequences with personal stories about friendship, leadership, loss, and the human cost of war.
